On behalf of our healthcare client, Procom is searching for an Applications Architect - Senior-Health Data & Platform Architect for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

APPLICATIONS ARCHITECT - SENIOR-HEALTH DATA & PLATFORM ARCHITECT - JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hiring a Health Data & Platform Architect to drive the alignment of digital products, data ecosystems, and modernization efforts across the provincial health system. This role involves leading conversations to integrate platforms and reduce fragmentation, transitioning from siloed operations to an integrated, data-first health ecosystem.

APPLICATIONS ARCHITECT - SENIOR-HEALTH DATA & PLATFORM ARCHITECT - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in solution design, system integration, or platform delivery
  • Ability to create delivery-ready technical designs
  • Fluency in interoperability standards and integration methods
  • Experience with cross-functional teams
  • Strong modelling, documentation, and facilitation skills
  • Familiarity with modern delivery practices
  • Knowledge of PHIPA and privacy legislation

APPLICATIONS ARCHITECT - SENIOR-HEALTH DATA & PLATFORM ARCHITECT – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Experience designing enterprise-level data governance frameworks
  • Expertise in conceptual architecture for digital ecosystems
  • Strong knowledge of semantic interoperability standards
  • Ability to lead strategic alignment across programs
  • Understanding of Information Management principles
