On behalf of our Healthcare client, Procom is searching for an Applications Architect - Senior-Health System Solutions Designer for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

APPLICATIONS ARCHITECT - SENIOR-HEALTH SYSTEM SOLUTIONS DESIGNER - JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hiring a Health System Solutions Designer to support the design and delivery of integrated digital solutions across provincial health programs. This role focuses on system modernization and solution execution, bridging program needs, data standards, and platform capabilities into coherent, scalable designs.

APPLICATIONS ARCHITECT - SENIOR-HEALTH SYSTEM SOLUTIONS DESIGNER - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in solution design, system integration, or platform delivery within complex digital environments
• Minimum 7 years of experience with interoperability standards and integration methods, such as RESTful APIs and HL7 FHIR
• Minimum 7 years of experience in data flow modeling, system integration patterns, and reusable components
• Minimum 7 years of experience with PHIPA and privacy legislation in healthcare IT
• Experience working in cross-functional teams

APPLICATIONS ARCHITECT - SENIOR-HEALTH SYSTEM SOLUTIONS DESIGNER – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience with public health or government sectors
• Proficiency in health modernization projects
• Ability to work in multi-stakeholder environments
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills

• Collaborate with clinical, product, and technical teams to shape actionable and integrated solutions
• Design and deliver digital solutions across various health platforms like drug, medical imaging, and immunization
• Engage in real-time decision-making processes to align solutions with broader system goals
• Ensure compliance with Ontario Health policies and procedures
