We do have a job opening for Applications Architect - Senior for our direct client Province of Ontario. The position details are given below: Job Details: Job ID: RQ11119 - Applications Architect - Senior Client : Community Services Cluster Location : 777 Bay st., Toronto, Ontario Duration: 08 months + Extension Type: Onsite Job Description: Must Have: · 10+ years experience as a Business/Applications Architect following Zachman framework · Proven experience working on large-scale programs involving multiple highly inter-dependent systems · 10+ years experience as an Application/information/Security Architect developing a mixed of system architectures for in-house custom solutions/COTS/Cloud based solution · Knowledge of how the Architecture Governance Process works, including Gating/Checkpoints and their significance. The successful candidate should have previous experience in guiding project through the Architecture Governance Process. · Proven experience in API design, integration and technical requirement definition · Knowledge/experience in Data Modeling, including Conceptual, Logical and Physical data and dimension models. · Expert skills in using Powerdesigner tool for developing all architectures domains

Responsibilities

The role involves developing mixed system architectures for custom, COTS, and cloud-based solutions for large-scale programs. The architect is responsible for guiding projects through the Architecture Governance Process and designing APIs and data models.
