  Job Summary: As an integral part of our organization, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical expertise and client needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of medical device manufacturing processes.     Duties and Responsibilities : Establishes customer rapport and builds relationships with customers.  Demonstrates to potential customers how and why services would suit customer needs better than competitors’ services.  Provides technical sales support to clients and commercial team.  Works with customers and plant production engineering to determine how products or services could be designed or modified to best suit customers' needs.  Is aware of and understands the marketplace and competitive solutions.  Is a quote gatekeeper and single point of contact, for determining and distributing to the correct plant and tracking quote lead time, wins/losses, as well as strategies to improve.  Reviews cost estimates, quotations and performs the necessary follow-up activities to facilitate new business with plant teams directly.   Works with BU Controller to develop quote strategies as well as techniques/strategies at CM v GM.   On large opportunities oversee and report sales price / gross margin position and review for approval with the ELT and BU leadership.  Visit/ learn and become expert on the capabilities/needs of partner locations.  Reviews documents such as customer design specifications and requests to determine feasibility of design and applicability.  Participates actively in the contract review process to impart learned information.  Continual involvement in new technologies pertaining to Engineering and Manufacturing  Develop, implement, and optimize machining processes for medical implants and instruments Identify and implement improvements to reduce cycle times, increase productivity, and enhance product quality Provide technical support to manufacturing teams to resolve issues related to machining processes and equipment. Analyze production problems, identify root causes, and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with relevant regulatory standards, including FDA, ISO 13485, and other industry-specific requirements. Manage and oversee the implementation of new machining technologies and equipment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, quality assurance, and production staff, to ensure successful project execution. Train and Mentor manufacturing personnel on new processes, technologies, and best practices. Develop and deliver technical training materials and sessions to enhance team capabilities.
