APPLICATIONS ENGINEER

Daico Industries, Inc. has led the way since 1965 with advanced IF/RF and Microwave Control Products and Amplifiers for the Defense Electronics, Aerospace, Commercial Aircraft, Wireless and other high-end commercial industries. From commercial space to advanced wireless applications, our custom high-reliability products are integral to the complex operations of major Satellite, Radar, Navigation, Communications, Electronic Warfare, and Missile Systems Applications.
We are currently seeking an Applications Engineer to join our Engineering and Marketing department.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BSEE degree or equivalent
• Requires strong verbal and technical writing/communications skills.
• 3 - 5 years’ relevant experience
• RF/Microwave product manufacturing or applications knowledge is required.
• Be willing to travel.

• Supports Test Department with production test tasks for Daico MIC and Discrete products.
• Participates engineering processes to support Daico products, including design, test procedures, evaluation tests, etc.
• Serves as a technical liaison between customers and company; provides technical supports and system solutions.
• Assists technical proposals with prices and deliveries, updates order status, and conducts follow-up calls.
• Interacts with the sales, engineering, procurement, and production teams to review SCD and to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Initiates frequent communications with Daico representatives, outreaches potential customers, and develops booking forecasts.
