POSITION SUMMARY:

Assist in the implementation of existing business critical applications utilized by a global customer base in partnership with a team of Project Managers, Business Analysts, Engineers and Developers.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor’s degree in programming preferred.
· Minimum of 2 years’ programming or code writing experience.
· Two years’ SolidWorks experience.
· Current experience in Visual Studio, Visual Basic (V.B.), or ability to quickly learn.
· Lean manufacturing and manufacturing experience is desirable.
· Knowledge of relevant manufacturing processes (electrical assembly, vacuum forming, screening, assembly) and materials.
· Must have effective oral and written communication skills.
· Must be able to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities.
Must be able to work effectively with teams to achieve results without direct authority over team resources.

Responsibilities

· Development and implementation of the applications for the Company, utilizing SolidWorks and custom CPQ programs for use in the automation for production of new and existing products.
· Evaluate and develop automation applications for mechanical design, product descriptions, bill of material and specifications to provide desired output documents necessary for project completion, which is timely, of top quality and for the highest value, accounting for all liability considerations.
· Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customers, and Engineers to define products that meet customer expectations and are capable of robust manufacturing processes.
· Collaborate with product development teams during the development process to ensure cost effective products that meet customer requirements.
· Manage the engineering release documents to manufacturing process, utilizing lean manufacturing tools.
· Train designated engineering personnel to properly execute the engineering design and manufacturing processes utilizing SolidWorks and Everbrite’s internal applications.
· Develop and maintain the Company’s Engineering database pertaining to internal applications.
· Design, code, test and debug new and existing applications.
· Must facilitate weekly update meetings.
· Create weekly, monthly and yearly progress reports.
· Perform other duties as assigned and time allows.
