This role supports customers and internal sales teams by applying technical expertise across rotating equipment, valves, and fluid-handling technologies to solve real-world challenges. This position is well-suited for an engineer who is customer-oriented, enjoys growing and applying technical knowledge, and is motivated by supporting both short-term customer needs and larger, more complex projects over time. Key Responsibilities Act as a technical resource for industrial customers and internal sales teams Support equipment selection, application review, and troubleshooting Respond to time-sensitive customer requests Contribute to longer-term project opportunities Review customer specifications, operating data, and process requirements Collaborate closely with outside sales engineers on technically sound, customer-focused proposals Interface directly with customers to understand application challenges Maintain and grow technical expertise across rotating equipment, valves, and related fluid-handling technologies Coordinate with manufacturers and internal teams to resolve technical questions Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience 3–5+ years of experience in application engineering, technical sales support, or industrial equipment environments Familiarity with rotating equipment, valves, pumps, or fluid-handling systems Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent mechanical aptitude and ability to connect theory to real-world applications Demonstrated interest in developing deeper technical expertise Ability to balance urgent customer needs with longer-term project work Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working in a dynamic, team environment This role is designed for an engineer who enjoys working closely with customers and applying technical knowledge to real-world industrial challenges.
