Fuel Your Passion The Applications Engineer – Service Delivery Applications supports the full job lifecycle by providing technical evaluations, job design, risk assessments, incident reviews, and operational support. This role ensures that engineering practices, process discipline, and technical governance are consistently applied across all projects. The engineer collaborates closely with Sales, Service Delivery Coordinators, and field teams to ensure customer objectives are met while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. As an Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for: Ensuring compliance with the Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) process. Working with the assigned Service Delivery Coordinator/Salesperson to understand the client’s well construction or production objectives, along with associated commercial terms (e.g., outcome-based or line-item contracts). Performing offset job analysis and conducting engineering modeling calculations to identify potential hazards and incidents. Collaborating with all disciplines and stakeholders to ensure full consideration of application constraints and product/service requirements. Designing job programs, including risk mitigation and contingency plans, to meet client objectives and maximize business potential. Communicating any risks to client objectives through appropriate channels in alignment with defined processes. Accurately documenting all calculations, simulations, revisions, and changes during the project lifecycle for visibility and audit readiness. Providing on-demand support according to product portfolio or on-call rotation for job execution. Comparing planned vs. executed job data, capturing lessons learned, and recommending improvements for continuous enhancement. Working on field incidents involving products/services. Participating in Incident Investigations, ensuring end-to-end evaluation (planning, preparation, execution) to determine root causes and corrective actions. Enabling timely incident management to support customer issue resolution and cash collection. Advising on product improvement opportunities for recurring component or equipment failures. Providing sales support through technical recommendations and product application expertise. Supporting product‑line‑specific responsibilities as applicable. Handling special projects as assigned. To be successful in this role, you will: Hold a bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM). Demonstrate excellent leadership, interpersonal, influencing, and planning skills. Be available for on‑call support outside normal working hours. Be capable of working effectively in a global matrix organization. Have strong communication and presentation abilities. Possess strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Be willing and able to travel, including to rig sites, customer facilities, meetings, and training. Desired Characteristics Significant operational experience. Confidence in presenting to experienced peer groups. Ability to manage, coach, and mentor teams across organizational boundaries.
