REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Civil or Mechanical).
  • 2+ years of experience in applications engineering or a related field, preferably within wastewater treatment.
  • Strong understanding of SBR, RBC, MBR, MBBR, DAF, Extended Aeration Systems, and chemical feed systems is an asset.
  • Knowledge of water treatment is a bonus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an aptitude for learning to complete complex RFQ requirements.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems (such as Salesforce) considered an asset.
  • Proficient with MS Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Experience with BioWin and/or CAD preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare the designs, costing, and proposals for wastewater treatment equipment suitable for customer needs.
  • Review tender documentation, including specifications and drawings.
  • Prepare bid documents including pre-qualification, costing, and technical requirements.
  • Provide support to the sales team during the bidding process.
  • Manage bidding and proposal schedules and deadlines.
  • Support the detailed design process and final submittals preparation.
  • Maintain accurate records of opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts, and correspondence in company-approved databases.
  • Provide input to the product development process.
  • Maintain an adept understanding of product knowledge and application.
  • Maintain professional business relationships with consultants, end-users, integrators, and distributors.
  • Actively listen to, understand, and help convey customer requirements.
  • Verify customer project needs (regulatory, capacity, etc.).
  • Refine process design tools to increase accuracy and efficiency.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Other duties as reasonably assigned.
