Description
Focuses on providing technical support and expertise to the sales team and customers during the sales process. Expertise provided to parties may include answering questions about a single product or a product line, providing in-depth demonstration of the products, assisting customer with maximizing the benefits from the products they bought, and diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex systems. The Application Field Service Engineer will focus on technical support and applications of Nordson T&I all products into the overall Semiconductor / SMT / Electronics / Automotive market in Korea. Assist in managing sales opportunities and distributors, and contribute to business development for Nordson T&I. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities • Support Application Field Service Team and leading the technical support activities with LoB • Maintain the Application and Service tickets in the system accordingly • Provide application and product training and updates to distributors and customers on the latest technology and product developments • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop customized applications/solutions to meet customers’ needs. • Develop technical capability in terms of application & service skills • Support marketing activities with distributors by participating in key trade exhibitions/shows and other events to promote Nordson products • Gather relevant market information, including latest technology and industry trends, competitor developments, changes in existing markets and emergence of new markets for feedback to management • Contribute Key Customers Service Contract Agreement with T&I products sales leader • Contribute increasing Aftermarket revenue, developing new aftermarket sales leads Support T&I product manager and service team in each LoB to support distributors and customer • Supporting trade show and exhibition to create sales leads • Assist in formulation of local sales and marketing strategies through market analysis and partner closely with local distributor(s) to drive sales and win projects Education and Experience Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering/Relevant Field • 5 - 10 years related capital equipment applications/sales experience in Semiconductor or related industry is required. • Equipment technical experience in the Semiconductor / Electronics Equipment Industry a plus • International Sales or Technical experience in Asia preferred • Proficiency Salesforce or equivalent CRM tools a plus Preferred Skills and Abilities  Proactive, responsible, confident and customer-oriented  Results driven and a self-starter  Strong communication skills in English Working Conditions and Physical Demands Travel Required None Domestic 80% International 20% At Nordson, we believe that anything is possible.
