Who we’re looking for Toyota’s Manufacturing IT Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Operations Manager. The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the day-to-day execution of the Siemens OpCenter Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) program at the Liberty battery plant. Reporting to the Siemens MOM Product Owner, the person in this role will support the Manufacturing IT department’s objective to deliver a high-quality, scalable MES solution aligned with manufacturing, quality, and logistics operations. This position is based in the Battery Plant, Liberty, NC. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within a commutable distance of this location. What you’ll be doing Lead and manage functional and technical leads, including Operations, Platform Release, Testing, Training, Communications, and Change Impact Drive alignment across all workstreams to meet program milestones and operational readiness targets Oversee planning, execution, and governance of OpCenter program activities Act as the primary escalation point for cross-team risks, issues, and dependencies Coordinate across IT and business functions (manufacturing, logistics, quality) to ensure successful delivery Communicate program status, risks, and progress to executive leadership and key stakeholders Manage resource allocation and support budget tracking across program workstreams What you bring Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience 8+ years of program or project management experience in enterprise systems delivery 3+ years of experience supporting MES/MOM or manufacturing systems implementations Experience leading cross-functional teams in large-scale technology programs Knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing, release management, and change management processes Added bonus if you have Experience with Siemens OpCenter (Discrete, Foundation, Quality, Logistics modules) Experience in automotive or battery manufacturing environments PMP, PgMP, or similar program management certification Experience working in Agile, Hybrid, or Waterfall delivery models What we’ll bring During your interview process, our team can fill you in on all the details of our industry-leading benefits and career development opportunities.
