As our new Applications Specialist, you’ll be the go-to link between our Operations team and IT, supporting labs, planning, and processing with smart solutions. From untangling software issues to unlocking automation opportunities, your work helps the entire team move faster and smarter.

TO SEED YOUR FUTURE, YOU’VE GOT THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Keeping a sharp eye on process flows and proposing ideas to work smarter, not harder.
• A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• Affinity with data, applications and translating business needs into solutions.
• A hands-on mindset: you like to explore, test, fix and improve.
• Strong communication skills – you know how to work with both IT experts and operational users.
• Accuracy and structure – you document and follow up without missing a beat.
• Experience with ERP systems, workflow or laboratory information systems is a plus.
• Fluency in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
• The flexibility to travel occasionally within the Netherlands and Europe.

• Supporting daily users in labs, planning, and production with hands-on application support.
• Translating business needs into smart system solutions – from user requests to functional specifications.
• Working closely with key users and IT to implement, test, and roll out improvements.
• Managing tickets and change requests, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
• Maintaining system documentation and supporting the training of colleagues.
• Participating in projects to improve or implement applications that drive operational excellence.
