Provides clinical training and support to customers, as a subject matter expert on Varian’s Brachytherapy, Eclipse and Quality Assurance product lines, on-site and/or remotely to ensure customer is prepared to operate their equipment according to a minimum of safe and effective use guidelines and to fully utilize the complex functionality of the technology to meet their business needs. Provides expert applications training, clinical expertise, and customer support to new and existing customers on Varian’s Brachytherapy and Quality Assurance product lines both on site and remotely Develop new and existing customer understanding of Varian product capabilities to contribute to revenue and business growth by delivering value Fosters strong relationships with customers performing research, development, and clinical trials Participates in continual learning of Varian products and features. Supports a collaborative environment with other Varian team members across teams and geographies to deliver on strategic goals Uses expert knowledge to help customers implement new technologies and/or work processes Promotes and develop new and existing customer understanding of Varian product capabilities Provides support to sales and commercialisation teams to further develop the brachytherapy and quality assurance markets in SE Asia, Korea, India, PNG and ANZ Provides input to product management in the development of hardware and software products for both brachytherapy and quality assurance products Assist local engineers by providing physics support as the need arises Provides expertise regarding brachytherapy and quality assurance for tender responses Provide expertise regarding brachytherapy, quality assurance and commissioning for new sites in SE Asia, Korea, India, PNG and ANZ Provide Clinical Helpdesk relief support as required Delivers product demonstrations to existing and potential customers and represents Varian and Varian’s brachytherapy and quality assurance products at trade shows and customer events Who we are: We are a team of more than 73,000 highly dedicated Healthineers in more than 70 countries. Responsibilities
The Applications Specialist provides clinical training and support to customers as a subject matter expert on Varian’s Brachytherapy, Eclipse, and Quality Assurance product lines. They foster strong relationships with customers and support sales and commercialization teams to enhance market growth in Southeast Asia and other regions.
