REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree or certifications in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in application support, technical support, or a similar role with a strong analytical component.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell), database querying (e.g., SQL), and data exchange formats (e.g., JSON).
  • Experience with monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., Elastic, Splunk) and workflow management platforms (e.g., Jira) is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to document technical processes and explain concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess performance data and identify trends.
  • Organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and task prioritization.

Responsibilities:

  • Address application issues, perform root cause analysis, and follow structured incident management protocols.
  • Utilize monitoring tools to track application performance, analyze logs, and respond to alerts to ensure system stability.
  • Collaborate with IS teams to troubleshoot complex issues, design long-term solutions, and provide feedback to enhance application performance and reliability.
  • Manage application settings, perform minor configuration updates in production, and troubleshoot issues to maintain application stability.
  • Implement change management processes in production environments and communicate changes to end-users to minimize disruption.
  • Conduct regular security and compliance audits on production applications, including user access reviews, to ensure adherence to business rules, security policies, and appropriate permission levels.
  • Oversee data access compliance within applications and monitor data integrity in production environments.
  • Maintain updated technical documentation and provide ongoing training and support resources to end-users and team members.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure application resilience, backup, and recovery processes are effective.
