Job Description:
Madison College
is hiring a full-time (40 hours per week/38 weeks per year) position of Lab Coordinator supporting our Applied Arts classes. This position ensures effective day-to-day operation of instructional laboratory spaces. Responsibilities include managing lab equipment, coordinating lab activities, supporting faculty and students, maintaining safety compliance, and overseeing inventory and procurement. The role directly supports hands-on learning by creating well-maintained, safe, and accessible lab environments. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, and thrives in a dynamic, student-centered academic environment.

Position Details:
Expected Progression: This position includes an expected progression plan. Upon meeting the outlined criteria, you will be eligible to receive a $1.00 per hour increase.
Schedule: This position generally works 40 hours per week, during the academic year (38, nonconsecutive weeks). General working hours are 8:00-4:30, M-F with some evenings and weekends as needed.
Benefits: This position is considered full-time with excellent full-time benefits (some may be prorated), including health/vision/dental/life insurance options and participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS).
