The University of Northampton is seeking a self-motivated and driven Applied Sport Scientist. You will join a growing, dynamic, and collegiate team with a strong culture of high performance.
The post holder will primarily be responsible for the design and delivery of high-quality sport science strength and conditioning support to student athletes, external partners and community sport organisations. You will also be required to work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to manage student placement opportunities and contribute to the generation of commercial income from sport services. ABOUT YOU

You will possess a professional background in sport science with specialisms in strength and conditioning and athlete rehabilitation. The successful candidate will have experience of working with external partners and forging mutually beneficial relationships with a focus on developing both economic and social value.
The successful candidate will be ICT literate and have experience in leading athletic development programs. You will be highly disciplined, organised, supportive, and able to work collegiately within a team. A successful track record of working in performance sport settings and generation of commercial income, would be welcomed.
