We are seeking an experienced Appointment Clerk to join our healthcare consulting practice. This position is on-site at Fort Campbell, KY. What you'll do Responsible for compliance with all training in accordance with applicable written policies, procedures and regulations. Answer all incoming calls in accordance with client standards. Provide patient appointing services from a Centralized Call Center or other designated clinic locations. Book, modify or cancel patient appointments through telephone or direct contact and interaction with patients. Write telephone consultations (TCON) and forward to the correct provider/clinic via AHLTA in accordance with appointing protocols. Contact patients regarding appointment availability, follow up regarding patients who did not show for a scheduled appointment or who need to be scheduled for a specialty appointment. Register patients in hospital’s automated data systems. Enter referrals to network acute care as per protocol. Perform all administrative requirements associated with patient appointing and related processes Provide hospital information to patients as requested ie; clinic times, locations etc. Perform all services in accordance with MTF policy and established protocols Advise the client of any problems encountered, or which may be encountered, in connection with meeting the needs of patients treated, including problems with regard to personnel. Qualifications High School Diploma or higher degree US Citizenship Ability to secure a DOD security clearance, must not have been unfavorably removed from a government position.
