Job Title: Appointments Coordinator (Temporary placement)
Location: Evesham WR11 1JT
We are seeking an Appointment Coordinator to join our team at Herefordshire and Worcestershire NHS Trust. The role will be based across 2 locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Book patient appointments for outpatient clinics based on the referrals from GP/consultants.
  • Following attendance, record outpatient outcomes, Referral To Treatment status and where appropriate, outpatient procedure coding promptly for every patient.
  • Ensure regular communication and liaison with the clinical and nursing teams working in clinics to keep them informed of any problems that may impact on the running of the clinic, e.g. patients arriving late.
  • Be of cheerful and friendly disposition.
  • Prepare and handover patient files for the outpatient clinics.
  • Coordinate Orthotics clinics at Evesham and Bromsgrove hospitals. Receive orthotics supplies from vendors, allocate between patient collection/clinic appointment.
  • Able to multi-task and think on your feet.
  • Ensure electronically receipting of outpatient supplies relevant to the department you support.
    Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
    Contract length: 3 months
    Pay: £13.13 per hour
    Expected hours: 30 per week
