THE ROLE

• This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to start a career in accountancy.
• You will gain hands-on experience in a professional environment while studying towards your AAT levels 2, 3 & 4 qualification, with the potential to progress onto ICAEW ACA training in the future.
• You will work closely with our team of accountants, assisting in the delivery of day-to-day services and supporting the firm’s ambitious growth plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting with bookkeeping and preparation of client accounts
• Supporting with VAT returns, payroll, and tax submissions
• Helping to maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
• Using accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) to process transactions
• Liaising with clients via phone and email to request information and provide updates
• General office administration and support to colleagues as required
• Developing knowledge of accountancy standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
