Join our structured two-year Apprenticeship Program and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) from disassembly and inspection through to assembly and engine testing. Upon successful completion, you’ll graduate with a New Zealand Certificate in Aeronautical Engineering (Applied Skills) – Level 4, Powerplant strand, and be a trained specialist in engine MRO processes. Start Dates: February, June and October 2026 What You Will Do Job rotation through key areas of the engine MRO process and receive world-class training from experienced aircraft tradesperson. Participate in a structured program covering engine disassembly, inspection, assembly, and testing. Learn repair methods, maintenance planning, release to service, and quality compliance. Perform tasks as per manufacturers’ manuals and customer specifications. Interpret technical documentation and following detailed work instructions. Learn to use SAP to manage and update work orders and transactions. Record all work accurately in accordance with quality and compliance standards. Qualifications You Must Have New Zealand Certificate in Aeronautical Engineering (Pre-Employment Skills) – Level 3. Demonstrated ability to follow processes and technical instructions accurately. Able to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, kneeling, and twisting. High attention to detail, accuracy, and good organizational skills. Effective communicator and collaborative team player. Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance in all tasks. Willingness to work rotating day/night shifts and overtime as required.
