Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for an apprenticeship within the UK Maintenance Systems team to continue the development of our asset management capabilities and maintenance competencies to optimise performance across both legacy and contemporary equipment. Location: Site-based Leeds About the Asset Management Apprenticeship at Sika Substantial capital investment in advanced manufacturing technologies across Sika UK's operational portfolio has fundamentally transformed the asset base, introducing unprecedented levels of automation, digital integration, and process complexity. Robust asset management practices are consequently critical to preserving operational excellence, ensuring asset reliability, maintaining regulatory compliance, and maximising return on capital employed. Sitting within the Operations function, the Maintenance Systems team take the lead in the development, implementation and improvement of the maintenance strategies via a CMMS across all Sika’s UK manufacturing sites. The Apprentice Asset Management Technician position will provide long-term support to Sika’s maintenance, engineering and asset management strategy The Opportunity This is a varied role where you will have the opportunity to- Complete a Level 4 Apprenticeship in Asset Management with a combination of academic study and work-based learning Perform an integral role delivering the programme for the lifecycle management of Sika’s key assets combining advanced maintenance strategies, strong engineering principles and digital tools Work across departments to develop solutions and implement processes that drive compliance, resource management and operational performance The Support You will work alongside an experienced team of engineers who will ensure the portfolio of evidence from the work environment applies the formal learning. You will have a Sika mentor to ensure you are supported through off the job training is effective and relevant. You will also be supported by an Apprenticeship Quality Coach to ensure your progress remains on track. Qualifications The Competencies required This is a Higher Degree Apprenticeship.
