If you are interested in becoming a 310S Certified Automotive Technician, then you most likely understand the ins and outs of a technician’s role in the shop. (Diagnosing issues, recommending solutions, performing preventative maintenance, documenting all steps, etc.) However, before we go over the official ‘job description,’ here are a few things we feel may or may not be different at our shop.

• As an apprentice you will have the opportunity to work along side fellow Certified Technicians with a range of experience and knowledge.
• You will be given the space and autonomy to work, practice and learn the trade.
• We work as a team, we are not a straight time shop for a reason.
• We work hard and take pride in doing a good job and doing it efficiently! (We do keep track of your working stats but expectations are different for apprentices.)
• We work on all makes and models! We see a lot of pick-up trucks in our area, but we also see many cars and SUVs plus high-end, luxury vehicles as well.
• We take pride in our business, our company, and our image. We want to be proud of the work we do, what we accomplish, and we want our employees to be proud to working here too.
• We are honest people, we are not perfect, we try to educate our customers regarding recommended vehicle maintenance vs. services that are not necessary. We always try to gain and maintain the trust of our customers, and employees.
• We meet as a team every Thursday morning over breakfast and coffee! We are a family-owned company. We care about our family and yours.
• We care about what you think. We can’t promise to change anything or everything, but we are interested in your opinion and will always take it into consideration when making decisions.
• We are not for everyone. We want you to feel at home and like it as much as we (hopefully) like you.
