JOB DESCRIPTION:

As an Apprentice Carpenter, you will work closely with experienced carpenters and site supervisors to develop your skills and gain practical experience in various aspects of carpentry. This position offers a hands-on learning opportunity, where you will contribute to various construction projects while advancing through the stages of your apprenticeship.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic understanding of carpentry tools and techniques.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labor tasks.
• Safety-conscious with a commitment to following workplace safety protocols.

• Perform cutting tasks on-site, including measuring, marking, and cutting wood and other materials according to specifications.
• Assist in framing structures, including walls, floors, and roofs.
• Assemble and fasten materials using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear protective equipment at all times.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Learn and apply carpentry skills under the guidance of experienced journeymen carpenters.
