APPRENTICE CHEF AT MOTEL MEZZA AND HERNANDOS

Full time | Immediate start | Opportunity to work across two venues
We are seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Chef to join our team across Motel Mezza (Middle Eastern inspired) and Hernandos (South American style), two vibrant and fast-paced venues within Meraki Group.
As part of Meraki, you will gain hands-on experience in two diverse kitchens, learning different cuisines, service styles and techniques. With venues such as Kefi, Little Miss Mezza, and Little Seed Catering also under our umbrella, the opportunities for growth are significant.

What we are looking for

• Genuine passion for food and learning
• At least 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen or similar role
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and professionalism
• Clear communication and teamwork skills
• Must be available to work weekends and evenings
• Venues operate Tuesday to Saturday
• Confidence, initiative and a willingness to take direction

You will be involved in

• Preparing and cooking food to a consistently high standard
• Learning and supporting across both venue menus
• Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment
• Presenting dishes with accuracy, detail and consistency
• Working under the guidance of experienced chefs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
Pay: $38,000.00 – $47,000.00 per year
