Our talented brigade of chefs prepare and serve a wide variety of dishes to around 350 guests each day - from energising breakfasts and healthy buffet lunches to indulgent evening meals and sweet treats.

Main Duties: (Full Training Provided)

  • Assist in the preparation and service of cuisine to the highest standards.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of menus, terminology, and dietary requirements.
  • Present dishes with creativity and attention to detail, delivering the “Wow Factor”.
  • Support stock control, rotation, and reporting procedures.
  • Apply knowledge gained through NVQ training to practical kitchen tasks.
  • Contribute to the development of new recipes and menu ideas.
  • Maintain health and safety standards, including COSHH and diligence training.
  • Participate in training and service initiatives to enhance your skills and the overall operation.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • A confident and enthusiastic approach with a strong desire to learn.
  • GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • A genuine passion for cooking and hospitality.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
