JOB OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Civil Engineer to join our growing team delivering nationwide Electric Vehicle (EV) charging point installations. This hands-on role involves travelling and working away from home on a regular basis, offering a unique opportunity to gain valuable industry experience while playing a part in the UK’s transition to cleaner transport.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English, and Science (Grade 4/C or above).
  • Willing and able to travel and work away from home regularly.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Strong team player with a willingness to learn.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with on-site civil engineering tasks including excavation, ducting, and reinstatement.
  • Support the setup and installation of EV charging points, working closely with engineers and electricians.
  • Help conduct site surveys, take measurements, and gather data for project planning.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment at all times.
  • Read and interpret site drawings under supervision.
  • Complete all on-the-job and classroom-based apprenticeship training as required.
  • Travel and stay away from home during the week as projects demand.
