WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN ENTHUSIASTIC APPRENTICE DENTAL NURSE TO JOIN OUR GROWING TEAM!

Our practice, based in the heart of York, is independently owned and provides family dental care as well as various cosmetic treatments.
Training: No Experience Necessary, full training will be provided and enrolment in an Apprenticeship in Dental Nursing.
Working hours: Monday to Friday. 7.45-5.30pm (1 study day per week). Occasional Saturday Mornings (on rotation)
Starting salary: is National Minimum Wage, however, salary will increase qualification is achieved.

SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Have a willingness to learn and a motivated approach to continued professional development.
  • Be able to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be proactive and have a caring, positive mental attitude
  • Have a good level of computer literacy including knowledge of Microsoft office 365

To provide a reliable, efficient and timely service to ensure we exceed patient expectations at every visit and provide a first class customer experience

  • To work as part of the whole dental team to assist in the provision and delivery of dental care services to patients.
  • Ensure that all activities undertaken at the practice are in line with our policies and procedures.
  • To assist the dentist during each clinic and provide support for the patients
  • To ensure a high level of cross infection control and decontaminate dental instruments
  • To set up and shut down the surgery
  • To ensure all Logs are filled out correctly
  • To carry out administration duties when require
