Job Description We are seeking a motivated and caring Apprentice Dental Nurse to join our friendly dental practice in Belper, United Kingdom. Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow Prepare and maintain the dental surgery, ensuring cleanliness and sterility of equipment Welcome and reassure patients, helping them feel comfortable throughout their visit Record and update patient information accurately in our practice management system Provide chairside support, including handling instruments and materials as required Assist with taking and processing dental radiographs under supervision Learn and apply infection control procedures to maintain a safe working environment Participate in ongoing training and complete the Dental Nursing apprenticeship programme Qualifications GCSEs in English and Maths (grade C/4 or above) or equivalent qualifications Excellent communication skills and a friendly, empathetic demeanour Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely Good teamwork skills and willingness to support colleagues Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software systems Genuine interest in dental health and passion for providing quality patient care Commitment to completing the Dental Nursing apprenticeship programme No prior dental experience required, but a keen interest in the field is essential Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as required Additional Information We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity, equity and inclusion in our workplace.
