We know that studying at college and university isn’t for everyone, whereas an apprenticeship can offer a great opportunity to gain a qualification whilst earning a wage and without accumulating the debts associated with study.
We are looking for someone who is talented and passionate about advertising and the use of social media, to help promote Blackburn with Darwen Council as an employer of choice along with promoting our career opportunities. We are looking for someone to build on the work already undertaken to improve our advertising branding, social media presence and developing our recruitment sub-site.
Undertaking a Digital Marketing qualification, our ideal candidate will be confident in working with colleagues across the council to generate written and video content for the Council’s recruitment activities.
You will need to be organised as you will be working across HR with multiple requests at any one time and you will need to plan, create and publish high-quality content.
Your starting salary will be £8.60 an hour in your first year. During your second year you will remain on this amount or the minimum wage for your age, whichever is higher. We can also offer you 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays, an excellent pension and a number of discounts including gym membership.
