Under the guidance of experienced electricians and supervisors, you will learn the skills necessary to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment within industrial settings. This role is an essential step in becoming a qualified industrial electrician. You will: Assist experienced electricians with electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs within industrial facilities Assist in the installation and troubleshooting of electrical circuits and distribution boards Participate in equipment testing to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety standards. Assist in keeping accurate records of electrical work performed, including maintenance logs and repair reports Learn how to inspect electrical equipment for signs of wear, damage, or corrosion, and assist in addressing issues accordingly Work closely with other apprentices and electricians to share knowledge and learn from one another Good Work equals Good Benefits KiwiSaver employer contributions.
