SUMMARY

Apprentice Electrician (Construction)
Bedford based, with travel to sites as required.
Fulltime, permanent.
The role of the Apprentice Electrician will be to work alongside the Electrical Supervisor to deliver first class support to the project teams, working on a diverse range of new-build and refurbishment projects in the commercial, health, education and automotive sectors. We will help you gain the knowledge and skills required to complete the Electrotechnical apprenticeship, leading to becoming a qualified Electrician.
Ideally with some experience withing building services, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain a recognised Level 3 qualification with NVQ, within a highly successful company, working on some of the most prestigious projects in the region.

Duties will include:
· Undertaking the necessary training courses and on-site learning.
· Working with project teams to support electrical installations, maintenance and commissioning.
· Maintaining relationships with electrical sub-contractors and working alongside them
· Reading drawings and problem solving.
· Ordering materials
· Test and inspection and electrical systems (once qualified)
About you:
· The successful candidate will ideally have completed City and Guilds 2365 level 2 (or equivalent) and have electrical experience (1 – 2 years).
· Be genuinely interested in construction, with a desire to learn and progress.
· IT literate in Microsoft packages
· Minimum of 4 GCSE’s Grades 4 or above
· Full UK driving licence.
· Excellent work ethic and organisational skills.

Pay: £24,420.00-£30,000.00 per year
