Vantage Electric has apprentice openings for full time new construction, renovations, maintenance and service. We are seeking 2nd year or 3rd year Apprentices.
Tasks include running conduit & pulling cable, wire pulls, distribution installs, changing lamps, ballasts, installing fixtures and devices, and troubleshooting wiring circuits. Helping the Journeyman complete daily tasks.
Tasks require using hand tools, being on ladders, bucket truck, scissor and articulating lifts (AWP). Outdoor work is common (Site & service calls). Some work requires flexible shifts and occasional out of town trips. Organization & Paperwork skills are essential.
Candidates must have
-Valid Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract
-Basic hand tools
-Work boots
-First Aid, Fall Arrest & AWP Training are an asset. Successful candidates without training will be sent prior to beginning any onsite work.
-Punctuality is a must with high regard for safety
