Responsibilities

As an Apprentice Fabricator/Welder, you will:

  • Learn to read and interpret engineering drawings and plans
  • Assist in fabricating steel components using cutting, bending, and welding techniques
  • Gain experience in MIG and TIG welding under supervision
  • Work on projects from initial fabrication to final assembly and installation
  • Be trained in working to exacting industry standards, including health and safety procedures
  • Collaborate with a team of skilled tradespeople and engineers

This is a hands-on role that combines on-the-job learning with formal training (through an approved apprenticeship provider), leading to industry-recognised qualifications.
