Description

CHS Fire and & Security Ltd are seeking an apprentice fire & security engineer to join our team and to undertake a rewarding role within our expanding business.
The role will involve being placed with a senior engineer throughout your training period, on the job training is provided throughout and you will be field based dealing with a vast range of different customers and systems within homes, businesses and industrial sites.
Mostly within 50 miles of our head office, with very occasional working away or overtime.

Duties will include:

  • Shadowing a senior engineer on maintenance and installation tasks and work towards your qualification
  • Organizing tools and equipment for the your daily tasks
  • Assisting other engineers to complete work tasks, by loading and un-loading vans, planning tasks for installation and service
  • Assist in the installation of fire alarm and security systems at domestic and commercial sites
  • Work within a team to provide excellent service and quality, using good communication

Training to be provided:

  • Placement with a senior engineer throughout your apprenticeship.
  • Working onsite in real environments and with real customers under the careful supervision of senior staff.
  • Health and safety and asbestos awareness
  • IPAF – MEWP training for powered access equipment

Upon completion of the apprenticeship you will be provided with a company van and all equipment to work alone or assist within a team.
