As a Greenkeeper Apprentice, you will work outdoors in all weather conditions, helping to maintain and develop the golf course to the highest standards. You’ll learn about turf care, machinery operation, course setup, and environmental practices while studying towards a recognized qualification in sports turf maintenance if interested.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily course maintenance including mowing greens, tees, fairways, and bunkers
• Prepare the course for daily play (hole changing, raking bunkers, setting tee markers)
• Operate and maintain a range of turfcare machinery safely and effectively
• Learn turf management practices including aeration, fertilising, and pest control
• Support renovation and project work on the course
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times
• Work closely with the Head Greenkeeper and wider team to continually improve the course

• No previous experience necessary – full training provided
