Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will work as a Project Assistant: Marketing & Communications Apprentice within Employment and Skills team. You will be required to complete a 2-year training programme that will cover all aspects of the role and will be delivered through attendance at college or other distance learning methods delivered by the training provider. You will complete a Marketing and Communications Apprenticeship Level 3.
Employment & Skills is a service in the Place Directorate. Place Directorate is one of the most varied directorates of Kirklees Council – covering major development and infrastructure projects, business and economy, skills for employment, planning, housing growth, Highways, Streetscene and our own council housing through Homes & Neighbourhoods and more recently environment strategy and climate.

As a Project Assistant in the Employment and Skills Service you will support the successful delivery of our vision through a wide range of projects, The support will be flexible to best suit the needs of all Employment and Skills projects that are managed by the team.

PLEASE NOTE YOU ARE ONLY ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE IF:

  • You have been resident in the UK for at least 3 years (there are some exceptions to this, so applicants will need to be considered on a case-by-case basis as required.
  • You are not in full time compulsory education.
  • You are able to meet the entry requirements of the qualification and to undertake the studying and coursework required to complete the course.
