  Exact Contracting Services has an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Heavy Diesel Mechanic (Mobile Plant) to work across a range of Civil projects based in the Northern Territory.

THE ROLE:

This role will be site based and the successful candidate is expected to work a fly in/fly out (FIFO) roster on one of our remote Projects and attend trade school in Darwin, Northern Territory.
Often working outdoors in hot, dry and dusty conditions you will work with our qualified and skilled Trades Persons to develop skills to undertake servicing, repairs and maintenance to our fleet of earth moving plant and equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Working a DIDO/FIFO roster - 14 days on, 7 days off;
• Completing 6.00am until 6.00pm shifts (12 hours);
• Attending and successfully completing Trade School in Darwin, working towards completing an Apprenticeship through internal and external training at an RTO;
• Working as part of a team to ensure safe, continuous and environmentally responsible operations;
• Maintaining and promoting high standards in the areas of Health and Safety.
