POSITION OVERVIEW:

Startec Compression & Process is currently recruiting an Apprentice Instrumentation Technician to work at our Shepard Shop (9423 Shepard Rd SE, Calgary, AB, T2C 4R6). The Apprentice Instrumentation Technician will support the installation, testing, calibration, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation and control systems under the guidance of experienced technicians and engineers. This role involves hands-on learning and active participation in a variety of projects, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Shift Details: 5:50am - 4:20pm (4 days/week,10 hours/day). Overtime is as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Instrumentation Technician Apprentice 3rd year or greater.
• 2 years of industrial instrument construction/manufacturing experience.
• Fabrication Shop experience and asset
• Strong instrument and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Well organized, excellent communication skills, work well in a team environment.
• Applicable tooling required
