Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As an Apprentice IT Support Technician, you will work as part of a small, friendly and supportive team. You will learn how to:

  • Provide first-line IT support to staff across the organisation
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops and mobile devices
  • Set up and configure new equipment for users
  • Support user accounts, passwords, and basic Active Directory functions
  • Learn about cloud technologies such as Microsoft 365
  • Assist with IT asset management and documentation

You’ll gain hands-on experience with modern IT systems while building your technical knowledge through structured training and real-world application.

THIS ROLE IS CLASSED AS REGULATED ACTIVITY AS IT INVOLVES WORKING DIRECTLY WITH CHILDREN AND/OR VULNERABLE ADULTS. ALL SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES WILL BE ASKED TO COMPLETE A CRIMINAL RECORDS SELF-DECLARATION FORM PRIOR TO INTERVIEW.
