ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

You will need to have/be predicted to have 4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above. You must also be able and willing to travel daily to Oldham for work and to Oldham College once a week. You must either hold a full driving licence or be willing and committed to gaining this in the near future.

If you don’t see yourself sitting at a desk, or you enjoy working with your hands, this could be the ideal opportunity for you! Through a combination of college lessons and on-the-job training you will learn while you earn, working alongside a team of skilled and experienced colleagues to gain knowledge and skills working within our customers homes:

• Repairing walls, doorframes, skirting boards or plaster damage to internal walls
• Preparing of timber moulds for the manufacture of precast products
• Measuring out on material from blueprints, drawings, or samples
• Working on window and door repairs, kitchens fitting, flooring replacement and general joinery assigned tasks
• Laying out mark
