JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking experienced and dynamic Apprentice Levy Tutors specialising in Cleaning and Facilities Management to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to deliver apprenticeship training programs, mentor learners, and support their development to achieve their qualifications and advance their careers in the cleaning and facilities management sector.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Relevant professional experience in cleaning, facilities management, or a related field.
· Recognised teaching or training qualification or willingness to work towards (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, AET, DET).
· Substantial experience working in the cleaning and facilities management sector, with a strong understanding of industry standards, practices, and regulations.
· Proven experience delivering training and assessment in a vocational or apprenticeship setting.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
· Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
· Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in training delivery and learner support.
· A proactive and flexible approach to work, with a passion for supporting the professional development of others.

Responsibilities
  1. Training Delivery: Deliver high-quality apprenticeship training sessions in cleaning and facilities management in accordance with curriculum requirements and standards.
  2. Mentorship: Provide guidance, support, and feedback to apprentices to help them develop the knowledge, skills, and competencies required for their roles.
  3. Assessment: Conduct assessments of apprentices’ progress and performance, ensuring compliance with assessment criteria and quality standards.
  4. Curriculum Development: Collaborate with curriculum development teams to review and update training materials, resources, and assessments to reflect industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  5. Individualised Learning: Tailor training delivery and support strategies to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of apprentices.
  6. Progress Tracking: Monitor apprentices’ progress and maintain accurate records of their training activities, achievements, and assessments.
  7. Management Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with apprentice managers to understand their training needs and ensure alignment with apprenticeship standards.
  8. Quality Assurance: Ensure that training delivery and assessment practices adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and awarding body guidelines.
  9. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in training delivery, assessment methods, and learner support services, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  10. Professional Development: Stay updated on industry trends, developments, and best practices in cleaning and facilities management to enhance your own knowledge and skills.
