We have a fantastic opportunity for a school leaver or college student, offering a 24 month apprenticeship in-conjunction with Bristol College and LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) and upon successful completion a career within the lifting and plant hire industry.
This qualification covers a range of complex engineering tasks. You will learn about engineering materials, mechanical principles, and how health & safety must be applied to the lifting industry, as well as all the technical knowledge that is required to successfully operate as a lifting engineer.

On successful completion of this course, you will be awarded an ST0872 Lifting Equipment Technician – Apprenticeship Training Certificate. This internationally recognised LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) qualification enables those working in the lifting industry or those who looking to pursue lifting engineering as a career to gain knowledge, practical experience and the all-important certification often sought by employers, including:

• LEEA Foundation Certificate
• LEEA Lifting Accessories Diploma (LAC)
• LEEA Manual Lifting Machines Diploma (MLM)

You will also develop customer communications and lifelong learning skills, applying what you learn on the course to the wider industry context.
You must be 16+ and able to commute to Doncaster (DN2 4SQ) as this is where you will be based. You will also have a minimum GCSE grade 4 in both Maths and English.
