Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and versatile Apprentice to join our dynamic team. This entry-level role is designed for individuals eager to build a career in both electrical and welding trades, with hands-on exposure to industrial systems, fabrication, and mechanical support. As part of our non-union workforce, apprentices will cross-train across departments to support a wide range of industrial projects. The position involves approximately 75% travel and requires a strong work ethic, adaptability, and eagerness to learn multiple trades. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial and commercial electrical systems. Support PLC wiring, basic programming, and control panel setup. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints. Perform routine testing and inspections under supervision. Perform welding and fabrication tasks (MIG, TIG, Stick) for machinery installations and repairs. Assist in mechanical equipment setup, maintenance, and field repairs. Participate in rigging, fabrication, and basic millwright duties. Cross-train in mechanical maintenance and basic electrical work. Maintain a clean and safe jobsite, following OSHA safety standards and company protocols. Collaborate with Foremen, Project Managers, and team members to meet job timelines. Travel to job sites across the country as part of a mobile crew.
