WHAT TRAINING WILL THE APPRENTICE TAKE AND WHAT QUALIFICATION WILL THE APPRENTICE GET AT THE END?

As well as gaining a broad range of professional knowledge and experience, you will gain academic and vocational qualifications. The apprentice will also achieve Level 3 NVQ Diploma in engineering maintenance as well as a Level 3 sub diploma in engineering technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum educational requirement: 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) grade 4 / C or above including Mathematics and English.

• Assist site engineers attending mechanical, electrical, plant, equipment and building issues
• Assist engineers with the implementation of the site planned preventative maintenance programme.
• Carry out all tasks to comply with Company Policy on Health & Safety and COSHH requirements
• Attend training courses as required
• Any other ad hoc tasks.
