JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals eager to develop their skills in automotive repair and maintenance while gaining hands-on experience in a professional environment. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of experienced technicians, learning the intricacies of vehicle systems and repair techniques.

EXPERIENCE

  • Basic mechanical knowledge is essential; familiarity with automotive systems is advantageous.
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools is preferred.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Previous experience in customer service roles will be beneficial for client interactions.
  • Driving license is essential
  • GCSE grade 4 or Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths if you do not possess these grades you would have to be willing to work towards them before your final college exam as per the terms of East Coast College.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
    Pay: £7.55-£10.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week
