Description
Objective of job: Work and study in coordination with the Draexlmaier Apprenticeship Program and the Mechatronis Program.   Job Requirements: Must be currently enrolled in college studying megatronics.   Principal activities: Work and study in a classroom, lab, as well as on the production floor required by trainer/manager. Troubleshoot equipment via PLC, HMI, schematics, and other resources to identify and repair mechanical, electrical, hardware, and software issues. Diagnose, analyze, and repair electro-mechanical and instrumentation equipment using meters, gauges, and other testing methods. Complete tasks and projects assigned by trainer/manager in a safe and timely manner. Prepares work areas to ensure tools needed are available and in proper working order. Maintains good housekeeping using the 6S Principles. Be cooperative with co-workers in order to maintain a good working environment. Understand, observe, and follow all EHS safety requirements.
