We are currently seeking to recruit a qualified Welding Operative -time served Solas recognised Trades Certification or to a similar standard.
* with current Safe pass, Manual Handling and Abrasive wheels training and full drivers licence (preferably)
* minimum of 2 years previous experience in the manufacture of mild steel or stainless-Steel Fabrications
* High standard of welding experience to a suitable standard in Mig/Mag/ Tig Welding
* ability to produce parts to drawing specifications,
* ability to read and interpret drawings and build to strict tolerances
* ability to work in a busy team with a positive “can do attitude”
* Ensure work area is kept clean to a high standard
* Ensure safety standards are maintained at all times
Job is based at the company’s Main Office , Callan Precision Engineering, in Callan, Co. Kilkenny but may be required to work or train at other locations as reasonably determined by the needs of the business.
