Job Title: Apprentice – Millwright   Job Summary  Under direct supervision, perform maintenance and repair services of facility and production equipment such as mechanical, electrical, and building systems.    Responsibility  * Assist Journeyperson in completion of work assignments efficiently and effectively.   * Perform outlined procedures for regular machine preventive/predictive maintenance program.   * Conduct troubleshooting and repair activities for machine breakdowns as required, utilizing blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawing.   * Assembly machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools, and welding equipment.    * Participate in preventative and predictive maintenance programs.    * Under supervision, assist with installation of new equipment, coordinated with outside services, as required.   * Notify appropriate personnel of stock deficiencies and tool/material requirements.   * Support and maintain the department lean initiatives as set out in the LPS system.   * Participate in PHSR requirements   * Rotational shift and overtime work may be required.   Academic/Educational Requirements  * Minimum grade 12 or equivalent.
