Position: Apprentice Residential New Construction Installer Location: Twin Falls, ID Shift: Monday – Friday - 7:00am to 5:00pm Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 depending on experience Position Type: Full-time Position Summary: The Apprentice Residential New Construction Installer supports the installation of HVAC systems in new residential builds. This role works directly under a Lead Installer and focuses on learning the trade, installing ductwork, setting equipment, and assisting with all phases of new construction HVAC installs. This position requires reliability, willingness to learn, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: • Assist with installing residential HVAC equipment including furnaces, air handlers, condensers, heat pumps, and ventilation systems. • Install and assemble ductwork, fittings, boots, returns, supply runs, grills, and registers. • Set equipment pads, hang duct, run flex duct, and help prepare homes for inspections. • Pull thermostat wire and assist with basic low-voltage connections. • Follow instructions from the Lead Installer to ensure work meets plans, codes, and company standards. • Keep job sites clean and organized. • Maintain a professional attitude with builders, customers, and coworkers. • Adhere to all company safety procedures. • Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: • No HVAC experience required — HVAC or construction experience preferred. • Willingness to learn residential HVAC installation. • Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record. • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. • Comfortable working on ladders, in attics, and in crawlspaces. • Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely. • Strong work ethic and ability to follow directions. • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance. • Ability to work in a team environment. • Basic math and measuring skills.
