About the role You’ll be a valued member of the team, learning by doing and supporting colleagues with meaningful, hands-on work. You’ll be trusted with real responsibilities while being fully supported as you develop your skills and confidence. You’ll learn how to: Learning how to install, repair and maintain domestic plumbing and heating systems Assisting with safety checks and following gas safety regulation Diagnosing faults and helping to fix issues in customers’ homes Safe working practices and risk awareness Work safely, following health and safety guidelines Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues, showing care, respect and good timekeeping Progress through applying learning, working safely and gaining independence toward qualified status. What qualification will you gain? Level 3 Plumbing and Domestic Heating Technician, delivered by Lakes College You’ll combine on-the-job learning with structured study, building skills and confidence that will support your long-term career.
